ENLIGHTENEDTM - Swarovski elements’s call for talent to interpret its new gem products — in the context of the forecasted themes they were developed to complement — has drawn an array of diverse designs that celebrates our artistic and cultural differences. There is a creative, global spirit expressed in the unique designs created to illustrate GemVisions 2007. Where you take ENLIGHTENEDTM - Swarovski elements’s latest innovations in your design dreams are limited only to your imagination.

NEW INNOVATIONS

Hot Colors in Passion Topaz Collection

Each year, ENLIGHTENEDTM - Swarovski elements debuts innovative gem products reflecting forecasted trends. New in genuine stones, ENLIGHTENEDTM - Swarovski elements created Passion Topaz through the Thermal Color Fusion. This permanent, stable and durable color enhancement process allows us to transform genuine topaz into an array of fashion colors not traditionally found in Mother Nature (although she would if she could). The latest colors in the collection include orange Poppy, 1950’s-retro greenish-blue, electric neon Paraiba Blue, a grayish Infinity Blue, and lipstick Glam Red. Passion Topaz comes in round and square princess cuts, and the latest Grand Marquise, an elongated diamond shape. The genuine white topaz also is available in its new distinctive hexagonal-shaped Freedom Cut.

November’s birthstone, Topaz historically has been believed to bring love, affection and virtue to its wearer. Used as a talisman against misfortune, Topaz was worn to sharpen the wit, increase intuition, and foster long life. Its name was derived from the ancient Sanskrit word tapas, meaning fire. ENLIGHTENEDTM - Swarovski elements derived its name—Passion Topaz—for the same reason.

Trendsetting Colors & Cuts In CZ

Cubic Zirconia, the market’s premier diamond look-alike, is also available in the most fashion-forward, cutting edge colors, created by ENLIGHTENEDTM - Swarovski elements through the permanent and stable Thermal Color Fusion enhancement process. The hip new palette of hot hues for CZ includes the cool and vaporous Artic Blue, rich golden honey Amber, graceful grayish Plexi Blue, scrumptious sunny Salmon Pink, a hypnotic Green, and a blazing Glam Red. The TCF™ process presents exciting possibilities in bringing to market the most up-to-the-minute colors — helping to fortify the connection between fashion and fine jewelry.

ENLIGHTENEDTM - Swarovski elements also designed three new cuts for both its fashion CZ colors and CZ white. Available in black, pink, golden yellow and white is the soft and fluid Do-eyed Cut and the vibrant, reflectively optic round Parachute Cut. In CZ white, the brilliant Geo Star cut has been introduced, that draws the viewer into a galaxy of stars. Red and green CZ created by TCF™ technology is available in round and square princess cuts.

Creation of Black Magic with Genuine Spinel

Genuine black spinel is one of the hottest fashion stones on the market, complementing the movement for dark gems in urban, jet-setting futuristic styles. Most notable in genuine Black Spinel is the latest cut the elongated diamond-shaped Grand Marquise. While the fresh hexagonal-shaped Freedom Cut comes in genuine white topaz.

Spinel has been believed to protect its wearer from harm, cure the blues, and reconcile differences. Throughout history, spinel has been confused with other precious gemstones, particularly ruby in its red form. Perhaps its great-pretender-personae add to its mysterious charm and allure.
