ENLIGHTENEDTM - Swarovski Elements WATCH CONTEST

ENLIGHTENEDTM - Swarovski elements is conducting an online design competition in the field of watches. This competition asks international watch- and design-lovers abroad to share their ideas and design creative and innovative watches incorporating our applied ENLIGHTENEDTM genuine and created stones assortment.
Participants will have the possibility to either upload their own watch design(s) or use a toolkit to virtually configure a watch with the existing ENLIGHTENEDTM stone assortment.
All those who participate in our competition will have the chance to win a variety of attractive prizes. The designs will be judged by a professional jury, consisting of influential personalities within the design community, such as Nadja Swarovski. Selection will be based on creativity and the innovative use of our ENLIGHTENEDTM genuine and created stones assortment.
The competition will be starting online at the end of February 2008 and will run until the end of April 2008. Those who participate and submit their designs by March 24th, 2008 will have the chance that their designs will be presented at BASELWORLD, the world’s largest jewellery & watch fair, held in Basel, Switzerland, from April 3rd to 10th 2008.
In order to attract participants to our competition we will advertise the competition on a variety of websites that are frequently visited by watch-, fashion- and design-enthusiasts. The competition will be promoted in a variety of ways, e.g. by placing a banner on the website or writing an editorial text.
